Three ways to use them
- Floor board. Tape out a large board with painter's tape and let children carry the cut-outs to their squares.
- Stick puppets. Glue each shape to a popsicle stick so children can act out their own two-kingdom story.
- Matching. Spread the shapes face up, hold up a name card, and ask the group to find every piece that matches.
Card stock holds up better than paper if you have it. The story time kit uses these silhouettes in its main activity, and the name cards are the other half of the matching game.
